MCSU Digital Library in Lublin is created on the basis of the library’s collection and its informational system, as well as of private collections of the MCSU academics.

The developing collections will include: digital copies of cultural heritage materials of both European and regional significance, copies of university handbooks, monographs and scientific articles, doctoral dissertations, various publications concerning the Lublin region.

The main aim of the project is to make the digital collections available for scientific and didactic work at the University, as well as providing materials to all interested Internet users. The realization of the project will serve to protect the collections of historical value representing the cultural heritage, and to promote the knowledge about them.

The project is coordinated and developed by the University’s Main Library. The created digital collection is being designed thanks to kind cooperation between the Library, the academics of the MCSU and the employees of the MCSU Publishing Company.
